About
I build the apps I wished existed.
Novaire Digital is a one-person app studio. The name behind the work is me — Benjamin.
How this started
I kept looking for apps that didn't exist. Not big platforms or enterprise tools — just small, personal things. A way to capture a thought without friction. A journal you'd actually open. Tools that felt like they belonged in your life rather than demanding your attention.
When I couldn't find them, I started building them. At first just for myself. But I realised there was something worth sharing — not just the apps, but the philosophy behind them. So I formalised the work under a name.
That's what Novaire Digitalis: a small studio for apps I build because I want to use them, published in case they're useful to others too.
What this is — and isn't
Novaire Digitalis not a software agency. I'm not here to build apps for clients or take on contracts. This is a one-person operation, and I intend to keep it that way — because building everything myself is the only way I can care about the details that matter most.
What that means in practice: every app I release gets my full attention. I use it myself, I think carefully about how it feels, and I feel personally responsible for whether it respects the people who trust it with their data.
The first app: Luna Journal
A journaling app built around speaking rather than typing. The idea came from my own frustration with journaling — I wanted it to be effortless, private, and worth returning to.
